about
Created as a conceptual campaign, The Right Moment for Dyson explores how a premium brand can respond to changing consumer behaviour through timely, product-led storytelling.
During periods of poor air quality, the impact extends far beyond the environment. Businesses experience reduced foot traffic, outdoor spaces become less inviting, workplaces face declining indoor comfort, and people begin checking air quality before making everyday decisions. Rather than making wildfire smoke the focus, the concept explores the behavioural shift it created.
The campaign uses subtle atmospheric particles, changing light, and visual transformation to communicate the experience without explicitly referencing the event. This allows audiences to immediately recognize the situation while keeping Dyson's role centred on restoring confidence through cleaner indoor air.
At the heart of the concept is the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde, chosen for its intelligent sensing, fully sealed HEPA H13 filtration, formaldehyde destruction technology, and long-range airflow designed for large spaces. More than a product showcase, the purifier becomes the visual solution to a real-world challenge, transforming uncertainty into comfort.
Designed as an independent creative exploration, the project demonstrates how brands can participate in cultural moments with restraint, relevance, and premium visual storytelling, allowing the product to lead the conversation rather than the event itself.
